Come Join Intuit as a AI Scientist Intern
A successful internship will result in a positive, measurable impact on one or more products in the company.
Our internship program lasts for a year: with full-time employment during the summer and the semester breaks, part-time (at least 2.5 days a week) employment during the semester itself, and vacations during the exam prep weeks.
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on data analysis, research, and modeling with huge data sets
- Apply Data Mining and Machine Learning methods to derive actionable insights
- Learn and gain domain expertise to help direct your research
- Learn technologies, programming languages, and methodologies necessary for your project
Qualifications
- MSc or PhD student in an appropriate technology field: Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Electrical Engineering
- 1 year remaining to graduation
- Experienced in modern, advanced analytical tools and programming languages such as Python with scikit-learn or R
- Strong passion for learning and ability to adapt to new technologies
- SQL or other query languages — an advantage
- Security domain expertise — an advantage
- REST or GraphQL APIs — an advantage
- Experienced in writing up research projects for academic papers or reports
- Resourceful, motivated, and organized
