In support of Intuit’s international expansion, customer growth, and breakthrough adoption goals, the APAC GSP Territory Lead (based in Bangalore) will serve as the primary leader responsible for managing and optimizing procurement and payables operations across the APAC region.
This role requires strong Accounts Payable (AP) domain knowledge, including experience with Oracle, Coupa, and regional regulatory requirements. The APAC Territory Lead must demonstrate strong communication and influencing skills, operate transparently in shared systems, ensure compliance, proactively resolve aging and payment issues, and drive continuous improvement across aging, invoicing, and supplier management processes.

Leadership and Strategy:
Serve as the primary GSP focal point for APAC, supporting stakeholders across Accounts Payable, Procurement, Sourcing, Travel & Expense, Supplier Onboarding, and general purchasing questions. While AP will be the majority of the day-to-day work, this role requires broad GSP knowledge to answer general questions, guide users to appropriate training, and direct stakeholders to the correct teams and resources.
- Partner across Finance, People & Places, Technology for Intuit, and regional stakeholders to streamline processes, share insights, and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead initiatives that reduce manual work and champion automation, AI-assisted experiences, and system enhancements across APAC workflows (Coupa, Oracle, Aravo).
- Anticipate risks, recommend mitigation levers, identify opportunities, and develop scalable processes that support Intuit’s customer growth and adoption goals.
- Influence cross-functional teams through clear communication, data-driven insights, and strong relationship-building.
Responsibilities
International Territory Leadership:
- Serve as the primary escalation point for APAC procurement and payables issues, partnering with AP, SDM, Outside Service Provider (OSP) teams, and suppliers to resolve blockers and ensure on-time payments (without directly processing AP transactions).
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of APAC Small Business Payment reporting, validating data, resolving exceptions, and maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Drive APAC aging management by prioritizing follow-ups, ensuring clear documentation, proactively escalating aged items, and aligning cross-functional partners to meet payment timelines.
- Diagnose and address recurring process issues across invoice ingestion, supplier onboarding, receipt workflows, and payment holds, collaborating with AP, SDM, and Product/Tech teams to implement sustainable fixes.
- Lead process improvement and automation efforts, improving visibility, reporting accuracy, and reducing manual work through dashboards, workflow enhancements, and data-driven insights.
- Enable and educate stakeholders and OSP teams to strengthen process understanding, reduce repeated escalations, and increase self-service.
- Provide regional insights, trends, and data that influence GSP strategy, operational improvements, and globally consistent workflows.

- Possess superior critical thinking skills and demonstrate sound judgment in complex decision-making and multifaceted problem-solving.
- Highly adaptable and resilient as processes adjust during organizational transformation, acting as a change agent.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Procurement, or Financial Operations, ideally within an international or shared-services environment.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle, Coupa, Aravo, and supporting e-procurement or AP automation tools.
- Experience working with outsourced service provider (OSP) partners, including managing SLAs, navigating escalation paths, and driving accountability across distributed teams.
- Demonstrated strength in stakeholder management, communication, and influencing across functions and geographies.
- Strong analytical capability, with experience using data to diagnose issues, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
