Company Overview

Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.

Job Overview

Intuit’s Platform Development Xceleration (PDX) group is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join our Identity organization, specifically focused on the Authentication Domain. Intuit’s Identity Platform is the front door for our customers, driving secure sign-up, sign-in, and authentication experiences for millions of users across TurboTax, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp. As a durable strategic lever for our business, this platform ensures that personalized experiences are delivered with world-class data protection and compliance.

We are looking for a results-oriented and empathetic technical leader to serve as a hands-on individual contributor (IC) within our Identity organization. The ideal candidate understands complex system design and platform architecture, and uses that knowledge to drive programs cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. You should be a driver who uses data to inform decisions and possesses the superpowers to organize, communicate, and influence across all levels of a large, matrixed organization, ensuring technical excellence and delivery across our most complex initiatives.

Responsibilities

Boundaryless Leadership: Foster a culture of "Winning Together" by unblocking teams, managing conflicts with empathy, and influencing stakeholders to achieve collective outcomes.

Drive Technical Excellence: Own and drive critical technical programs within the Authentication domain. This includes managing complex microservice architectures and navigating intricate internal and external system dependencies to ensure highly performant and responsive customer experiences.

Program Operating Rhythm: Develop and manage program structures and operating mechanisms that bring together cross-functional engineering and product teams across multiple geographies.

Strategic Alignment: Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to create technical roadmaps and execution plans that align with Intuit’s "True North" goals and Tech Strategy.

Decision Clarity: Utilize DACE/DACI frameworks to clarify decision-making roles, ensuring the team moves with velocity and handles dependencies effectively.

Stakeholder Communication: Provide articulate, concise, and unambiguous program updates to senior leadership. You’ll be responsible for identifying risks early and driving them to closure before they impact delivery.

Operational Rigor: Use Intuit’s Program Management Playbook to guide execution through all phases—from planning and development to production readiness and launch.

AI & Process Innovation: Identify opportunities to innovate program management processes using AI agents and GenAI tools to increase team velocity and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in technical program management, specifically within platform organizations or high-scale software development environments.
  • Education: BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent technical degree.
  • Technical Depth: Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), microservices architecture, and modern platform design. Experience with identity systems, authentication protocols (OIDC, OAuth2), or security is a significant plus.
  • Leadership Style: Proven ability to lead through influence rather than authority. You are a self-starter who values "Leadership as a Coach" and supports the growth of those around you.
  • Communication: Excellent articulate and warm communication skills. You can simplify complex technical problems into actionable insights for both engineers and executives.
  • Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to establish order in ambiguous situations and use rapid experimentation to learn fast and pivot when necessary.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to track and report on program health, development velocity, and customer impact metrics.
  • AI Fluency: A plus for candidates who have experience or a strong interest in leveraging AI/LLMs to automate workflows or improve program delivery.
