Job Overview

Come join the Operational Excellence & Automation team as a Senior Business Analyst.

In this role, you will partner with HR service teams to streamline and continuously improve the processes that Intuit uses to hire and retain awesome people. You will work with process owners across the organization to understand current HR business practices and experiences, and to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement or automation. You will collaborate with customers, specialized teams and tech partners to define configuration needs to deliver process improvements, especially as we transition HR Service Delivery to Service Now.


Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Conduct empathy interviews with employee-customers, HR specialists, and process owners to gather insights and build cases for change.

  • Facilitate discussions with process owners across teams, geographies, and organizational levels to document current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement, including ways to leverage AI and automation to accelerate work.

  • Identify optimization and standardization opportunities in collaboration with the process owners to ensure any recommended process changes satisfy requirements and meet process owner expectations.

  • Document and maintain AS-IS and TO-BE processes using flowcharts, playbooks, SOPs, and other forms of documentation.

  • Learn and interact with different enterprise systems that are used.

  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices pertaining to business process improvements and automation, and continuously share knowledge with the team.

  • Develop presentations to drive adoption of changes and to share success stories with leadership.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applicable work experience required.

  • 2+ years of experience applying business process redesign principles, tools, and techniques in an HR organization. ServiceNow HRIS implementation or process design experience a plus. Experience with Robotics Process Automation tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Workato, etc.) a plus.

  • Ability to identify opportunities for innovation by thinking outside the box.

  • Experience processing and transforming large volumes of data into insights.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment even during times of ambiguity.

  • Solid time management skills, ability to prioritize assignments in a dynamic work environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to learn new things.

  • Ability to diagram complex process flows using LucidChart.

  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable partnering effectively across global organizational boundaries through multiple mechanisms – email, verbal updates, power point presentations, zoom, etc.

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is:

Bay Area California $ 135,000- 182,500

Southern California $ 124,500- 168,500
