We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager in Toronto. The Senior Technical Program Manager is responsible for stewarding strategic technical initiatives and driving the delivery of transformational change by providing leadership and direction such as operational excellence efforts, new feature roll-outs across the fleet, and preparedness for major TurboTax yearly events like product launches and April Tax Peak.
Intuit has embraced a hybrid working model and this position will be working out of our Toronto office 3 days a week.
Responsibilities
How you will lead…
Focus strategically
- Have autonomy to work collaboratively with the leaders in your space to drive the project/program and Organizational strategy to accelerate the most strategic business outcomes.
- Drives data driven recommendations to execute, monitor and communicate progress, trade-offs or decisions needed
Lead change
- Build trust across teams
- Understands and supports key changes and type of change (process, technology and organization) being driven by the program and executes on the change management plan.
- Role model and embrace change to lead teams through evolving priorities
Enable scale
- Recommends areas of improvement within the project/program and work with stakeholders to implement
- Participates in opportunities to engage with the program community to improve your craft
- Coaches others in the business on program management fundamentals.
Domain expertise
- Quickly absorbs information in a new program area, parses what is important and applies that into problem solving.
- Apply appropriate SDLC methodologies to programs and deliver on engineering and operational excellence
- Identify technical dependencies and any gaps, determine capabilities needed and engage the proper technical experts to determine a solution
Deliver programs
- Drives the project/program operating rhythm
- Develops a high quality plan that is organized into manageable pieces at the workstream level.
- Uses data to assess progress to plan, reviews data for trends, and communicates progress and trends to stakeholders
- Identifies risks and issues and work with stakeholders to determine response plans

Qualifications
- Strong Program Management leadership experience, including 5+ years leading well defined small- medium sized programs
- Demonstrated ability to influence at the director level within a matrixed environment
- Knowledge of SaaS technologies or demonstrated ability to collaborate with engineering teams on complex technology programs with Agile and Scrum development methodologies, project/program framework best practices, tools, and techniques
- Strong technical acumen with expertise in software development approach, architecture, and lifecycle
- Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships across teams in delivering the best outcome of programs
- Computer science or other technical education or equivalent work experience preferred
- Agile training and experience preferred

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is:
Toronto Ontario: $119,500 - $161,500 CAD
