Job Overview

Intuit is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Principal Engineer to join AI/ML Platform team. Our charter is to build the platform that enables Classic AI and Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions at scale. This engineer will be part of a vibrant team of Engineers and will be responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of end-to-end systems that solve challenging problems to scale AI adoption at Intuit.


Responsibilities

- Accelerate the pace of innovation by building quick prototypes for experimentation and scaling successful prototypes into deployed production systems.

- Create a multi-year tech roadmap that enables our team to stay on the leading edge of the rapidly evolving MLOps landscape and leverage the best in class technologies to deliver customer benefits.

- Drive key architectural decisions and contribute to Intuit’s AI/ML platform architecture and strategy.

- Champion technical excellence and operational rigor.

- Mentor junior team mates helping them to grow their skills and expertise.


Qualifications

  • Tech/M. Tech in computer science or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years’ experience architecting and designing systems with expertise in developer tools.
  • Experience with MLOps on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Expertise in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala and familiarity with ML modeling frameworks.
  • Basic knowledge of AI and Machine Learning.
  • Worked on highly complex technical challenges delivering durable platform capabilities leveraged across the organization
  • Experience driving for results across cross-functional teams while maintaining effective working relationships
  • Self Starter and have a Bias for Action
  • High Rigor on Engineering & Operational excellence
  • Experience with leveraging, contributing to and leading open source community projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audience
  • Collaborate effectively with Data Scientists, Product Managers, Program Managers, and Platform Engineers to build solutions that delight our customers.

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
