Company Overview

Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.

Job Overview

We are seeking a Group Product Manager to lead the strategy, execution, and team responsible for our Point of Sale (POS) Payments products. These products are critical to enabling small and mid-market businesses to accept in-person and remote payments through intuitive, scalable mobile and web-based solutions.

Today, POS Payments are closely integrated with QuickBooks Payments, helping merchants seamlessly connect in-person and digital payment experiences with their financial workflows. Over time, these capabilities will support broader merchant use cases, expanding how and where Intuit helps businesses get paid.

In this role, you will lead and develop a team of product managers while owning the product vision and roadmap for POS Payments. You will balance near-term delivery with longer-term platform evolution, partnering closely with engineering, design, data, and go-to-market teams to deliver high-quality solutions. This role sits within one of the company’s most important and fastest-growing areas and will play a meaningful role in driving Intuit’s long-term growth.

Responsibilities

Define and own the product vision and strategy for Point of Sale Payments, positioning the offering to best support Intuit’s broader business objectives and long-term growth.

Engage directly with customers, merchants, and internal stakeholders to deeply understand pain points, identify unmet needs, and surface opportunities for innovation.

Lead roadmap development and execution, making clear, data-informed prioritization and investment decisions across features, platform investments, and integrations that drive merchant growth, adoption, and engagement across in-person and remote payment flows.

Drive strong customer and business outcomes by defining success metrics, monitoring performance, and iterating based on customer feedback and data insights.

Partner closely with engineering, design, data science, marketing, sales, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Serve as the connective tissue across teams to drive clarity, momentum, and execution velocity in a complex, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

Product Leadership Experience: 8+ years of product management experience with a strong track record of building and scaling customer-facing products, preferably in Point of Sale, payments, B2C commerce, or mobile product experiences.

Impact & Delivery: Proven ability to lead complex product initiatives from strategy through execution, delivering meaningful customer value and measurable business impact.

Thrives in Ambiguity: Demonstrated ability to take open-ended business problems and translate them into clear product vision, strategy, and executable roadmaps.

Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning and market analysis skills, with the ability to synthesize customer insights, competitive dynamics, and business objectives into actionable product strategies.

Analytical & Data-Driven: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to use data to inform decisions, identify opportunities, and optimize for growth and adoption.

Technical Fluency: Strong product judgment and comfort engaging across technical topics required to build scalable, reliable products. Experience with payments systems is a plus, but deep payments domain expertise is not required.

Customer Obsession: Passion for deeply understanding customer needs and workflows, and for building products that solve real problems for merchants.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and align cross-functional teams in a complex, matrixed organization without direct authority.

Executive Presence: Experience working with senior leaders to shape product direction, communicate tradeoffs, and drive alignment.

Communication Excellence: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
