Job Overview
Intuit’s Finance team drives business growth and profitability through strategic, financial, and operational leadership. The Investor Relations (IR) team within Finance instills confidence in Intuit's strategy within the investment community through transparency and responsiveness. They also gather shareholder feedback to refine Intuit's strategy and educate internal teams on investor perceptions.
The primary objective of the Finance summer internship program is to bring highly talented people into Intuit’s finance organization, serving as a direct pipeline to full-time positions. You will have frequent exposure to company leaders and core businesses, allowing you to make meaningful contributions.
Responsibilities
Your work will be high-visibility and contribute to shaping Intuit's external narrative and internal strategy.
Conduct a high-impact investor perception study (Main Project)
This project offers a great opportunity to leverage your strategic thinking and passion for capital markets:
Benchmark Investor Sentiment: Lead a comprehensive study to assess the investment community's perception of Intuit and its management team, core investment appeal, and areas of opportunity
Generate Actionable Insights: Synthesize investor feedback into clear, actionable recommendations for the IR team and executive leadership. This feedback will be used to shape how Intuit communicates with investors.
Cross-Functional Engagement: This project involves direct interaction with Intuit’s investment community and requires high emotional intelligence and confidence to communicate effectively.
Support with strategic adhoc projects
You will conduct adhoc analyses to refine our external communications strategy:
Competitive Benchmarking: Conduct in-depth competitive analysis by benchmarking Intuit's external data disclosure against peers to inform the company’s investor communication strategy and enhance investor confidence in Intuit’s investment narrative.
Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Strategy & Reporting: Analyze responses and feedback from key ESG rating and ranking agencies, and participate in the production of our annual Stakeholder Impact Report.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an MBA program with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
A passion for capital markets.
3-5 years of experience in related positions such as Investor Relations, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or equity research is preferred. Exposure or interest in environmental, social and governance initiatives is a plus.
High emotional maturity and strong written and oral communication skills are necessary to effectively engage the investment community and communicate with senior stakeholders across the company with high levels of confidence.
Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and simultaneously manage several priorities.
Attention to detail and ability to synthesize data into insightful recommendations for executive leadership and the IR team.

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is:
