Staff PM, TurboTax Tools
Company Overview
Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.
Job Overview
TurboTax helps millions of people get their biggest paycheck of the year — their tax refund. Although we deliver a category-leading online DIY tax software for nearly 40M filers, there are still 85M American consumers who spend too much time and money on inefficient and expensive tax prep services. That’s a massive opportunity, and we’re just getting started.
The TurboTax Growth team owns how customers discover, understand, and choose TurboTax. Our calculators and tax tools are often the very first interaction customers have with us — helping them answer big questions like “Will I get a refund?” and “What’s my tax bracket?” We’re looking for a Staff Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and evolution of these tools — turning them into a powerful new front door for TurboTax. You’ll shape high-intent, high-traffic experiences that build confidence, drive conversion, and scale distribution while keeping trust and accuracy front and center. You’ll identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities, develop a clear path to execution, and inspire cross-functional partners to deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions that fuel Intuit’s continued leadership, while partnering closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, SEO/Content, Legal/Compliance, and others to deliver measurable outcomes.
If you love growth, experimentation, and building products that help people feel smarter and more confident — this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Own the vision and strategy for TurboTax calculators and tools across web and mobile, grounded in customer needs and business outcomes
- Build and ship a prioritized roadmap that moves customers from “just browsing” to “let’s do this”
- Turn insights into action through fast, rigorous experimentation (A/B tests, user research, iteration)
- Make clarity, accuracy, and speed feel magical through great UX and smart personalization
- Lead end-to-end execution with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, SEO/Content, and Legal
- Drive alignment and crisp decisions across stakeholders — even when things get ambiguous
- Clearly communicate strategy, results, and learnings to senior leaders
- Spot emerging tech shifts and turn them into durable competitive advantage for TurboTax
Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience, with demonstrated track record of driving experimentation, conversion and measurable impact on growth or top-of-funnel surfaces
- Comfort leading cross-functional teams through ambiguity and big bets
- A deeply data-driven mindset: you love metrics, dashboards, and making informed tradeoffs
- Excellent storytelling and influencing skills
- Experience with SEO-driven experiences or scalable content/tool ecosystems
- Strong technical fluency (instrumentation, experimentation frameworks, performance)
- A passion for Product-Led Growth and customer-first thinking
- Experience with embedded tools, partner integrations, or platform products
- Background in fintech, tax, or other regulated spaces where trust really matters
