Come join the Intuit Fintech Data Engineering Team as a Software Engineer 1 in Data.

Responsibilities

? Build and maintain data pipelines: Assist with the development and upkeep of

Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) and Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) pipelines

that move data from various sources into our data warehouses and lakes.

? Support data quality: Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure the

accuracy, reliability, and integrity of our datasets.

? Troubleshoot and monitor: Aid in monitoring data pipelines and infrastructure

and diagnose and resolve basic issues as they arise.

? Document processes: Create and maintain documentation for data pipelines,

processes, and schemas for future reference and knowledge sharing.

? Support large data volumes and design for scalability

? As a key member of the team drive adoption of new technologies, tools, and

process improvements to build world class analytical capabilities for web

analytics, optimization, experimentation and personalization.

? Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: Product Management, Project

Management, Data Architects, Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Software

Engineers, and other Data Engineers.

? Build GenAI based solutions to solve for customers/Experts benefit or internal

productivity gains.

Qualifications

? Bachelors/ Masters in computer science or related field.

? Experience in developing data pipelines, creating ETLs, and working in

distributed systems.

? Good SQL skills

? Ideal candidate to have 1+ years of experience in end-to-end data warehouse

implementations

? Hands on experience in AWS technologies (S3, EMR, Redshift) or other cloud

technologies.

? Hands on experience in any of the programming languages (Python, Java, etc).

? Knowledge of AI / ML, Generative AI

? Understanding of the Software design and architecture process.

? Hands on experience with unit testing and data quality automation checks

? Excellent communication skills and an eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-

paced environment.
