With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.
Job Overview
Intuit’s mission is to power prosperity, and a foundational element of that prosperity is Trust. We are seeking a Manager of Product Management to lead the Accounts Lifecycle Risk team. This role is at the heart of our Fintech strategy, responsible for protecting millions of customers from fraud while ensuring their experience is seamless, intuitive, and frictionless.
In this role, you will lead a team of product managers to define the future of how we welcome and protect our customers. Your scope covers the most critical touchpoints in the customer journey: from the moment they onboard to the ongoing protection of their accounts against Account Takeovers (ATO) and other emerging threats. You will balance a "security-first" mindset with a "customer-obsessed" approach, building scalable technical features that stop bad actors in their tracks without getting in the way of our legitimate customers.
Responsibilities
Strategic Vision & Execution
Balance Experience & Security: Develop and execute a roadmap that creates delightful experiences for "good" customers while preventing and mitigating bad actor activity.
Domain Leadership: Drive the end-to-end Risk product strategy for Onboarding controls and ATO prevention, ensuring Intuit stays ahead of sophisticated fraud vectors. Leverage AI/ML, ecosystem data, and third party data to build automated, real-time decisioning flows and controls.
Scalable Feature Innovation: Work with engineering, policy, and AI teams to build reusable, scalable risk capabilities that can be deployed across various Intuit Fintech products.
Operational Health: Monitor and report on key performance fraud and experience indicators across the account lifecycle.
People Leadership & Talent Development
Team Growth: Lead, coach, and inspire a team of high-performing Product Managers. You will be responsible for their career development, technical growth, and ability to deliver high-impact results.
Culture of Excellence: Foster a collaborative environment that values ownership, clarity, data-driven decision-making, and deep customer empathy.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Influence Leadership: Act as the primary voice for Account Lifecycle Risk to senior leadership and key stakeholders. You must be able to articulate complex risk/reward trade-offs and gain buy-in for major strategic shifts.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Work seamlessly with Design, Engineering, Risk Policy, AI Scientists, and Legal/Compliance to ensure our risk controls and experiences are both effective and delightful.
Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years of Product Management experience, with a proven track record in Risk or high-growth Fintech services.
Proven People Leader: At least 5+ years of experience managing and developing other Product Managers. You have a reputation for building strong team cultures and developing talent.
-
Deep technical understanding of the Risk:
Onboarding: KYC/KYB, Identity Verification, Fraud detection.
Account Protection: ATO detection, adaptive authentication (MFA/2FA), risk signals
Exceptional Communication: You are a master at storytelling. You can translate technical risk concepts into compelling business narratives for executive audiences and stakeholder partners.
Platform & Scalability Mindset: You don't just solve for today; you build for tomorrow. You have experience delivering platform-level features that serve multiple products or business units.
Strategic & Analytical: Highly proficient in using data to identify trends, measure impact, and drive prioritization. You understand the math behind fraud—balancing loss rates against customer conversion.
Education: BS or MS in a technical or business field, or equivalent experience in a highly technical product environment.
