Job Overview
Come join the Tech Strategic Programs team as a Staff Product Designer! In this role, you will be critical to our "zero training" philosophy for executive dashboarding and storytelling. You will be responsible for architecting intuitive insight interfaces and end-to-end user workflows that ensure data is not only easy to consume but can be actioned with maximum velocity.
We are looking for a designer who can bridge the gap between complex data analytics and strategic decision-making. While your primary focus is UI/UX for analytics, you will also bring a strong visual storytelling capability to the team, supporting internal branding and engaging media initiatives. Responsibilities
Design and optimize insight delivery interfaces and end-to-end workflows, ensuring complex data is intuitive to consume and can be actioned with velocity.
Lead the UI/UX design for the Tech Leadership Hub and executive dashboards, focusing on creating a seamless "zero training" experience.
Create rapid, scrappy wireframes and high-fidelity mock-ups to support data visualization and dashboard development.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including analytics teams, engineers, and executives, to align design solutions with strategic objectives and technical feasibility.
Plan and conduct user research to gather and incorporate actionable feedback, iterating on designs to ensure they are both intuitive and visually appealing.
Drive a comprehensive overhaul of owned microsites, optimizing user flows, visual design, and the overall digital journey.
- Deliver creative storytelling assets for team branding, internal communications, and product/program launches (approx. 5-10% of bandwidth
- Translate complex analytics into compelling visual narratives that enhance decision-making for leadership.
Qualifications
Professional experience in UI/UX Design, with a proven track record of designing high-performance insight delivery systems and seamless workflows.
Expertise in Data Visualization, specifically in designing dashboards that translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights.
Proficiency in design and wireframing tools such as Figma, for rapid iteration.
Strong portfolio demonstrating complex end-to-end thinking, strong craft, and the ability to balance aesthetics with high-velocity usability.
Deep empathy for customer problems and a "zero training" mindset when designing tools for executive stakeholders.
Effective communicator and storyteller with the ability to present design rationale to senior management and diverse stakeholders.
Experience in an environment of experimentation, showing a commitment to testing new ideas and gathering user feedback to refine products.
- Experience in large enterprises and navigating ambiguous 0-1 product spaces is highly preferred
- Visual/Creative design skills (e.g., branding, short-form media, or presentation design) are a significant plus.

Bay Area: $211,238- $243,000
