Job Overview
The Corporate Business Development function at Intuit is focused on Intuit's Big Bets, prioritizing cross-company partnerships with our most critical partners to drive product innovation and substantial long-term growth. This team collaborates with the world's largest platforms, LLM partners, and financial institutions to achieve ambitious goals and deliver on Intuit’s strategy to be the global AI-driven expert platform that empowers customers to solve their most important financial problems with complete confidence.
Key initiatives for the Corporate Business Development team include:
Driving and executing a "One-Intuit partner strategy" with the world’s leading frontier LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) and platform giants (Google, Microsoft, Apple) to meet customers where they are and boost top-line growth.
Identifying, developing and managing our most critical company-wide named strategic partners to unlock new markets and opportunities.
Leverage partners to accelerate innovation by incubating new technology solutions or business models innovation
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced, strategic, and results-driven Principal, Business Development, Platform & AI Partners. This individual will lead sourcing, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships that drive substantial value for Intuit and accelerate our growth trajectory.

Drive top-line growth and long-term product innovation for Intuit by:
Leveraging deep understanding of the evolving Tech Ecosystem to drive internal executive alignment to identify, prioritize and pursue high-impact partnership opportunities.
Serving as the end-to-end owner for contract negotiations, leveraging deep expertise, data-driven insights, and strong emotional intelligence to navigate challenging discussions and secure favorable terms for Intuit while maintaining strong partner relationships.
Building relationships and influencing key decision-makers internally and at partner organizations to drive effective, cross-Intuit execution from deal signature to business outcomes realization. Challenge assumptions, bring strategic perspectives and proactively identify potential barriers and display creativity and persistence in working through setbacks
Helping build and mentor a high-performing business development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, rapid learning, results-orientation, and a deep commitment to partnership success.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
Strategic BD & Tech Expertise: 10+ years of professional experience, with 5+ years specifically leading high-stakes Business Development or Strategic Partnerships within the technology sector (ideally for SaaS or platform companies). Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related technical discipline required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Complex Deal Architecture: A proven track record of independently sourcing, structuring, and closing multi-faceted partnerships with large strategic enterprises that delivered significant, quantifiable business impact.
Lifecycle Portfolio Management: Experience managing a portfolio of strategic alliances, including developing robust joint business plans, tracking performance against aggressive KPIs, and consistently exceeding growth targets.
Executive Influence & Communication: Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and influence C-suite executives and build high-trust relationships with external partners.
Independent & Analytical Leadership: A data-driven strategic leader who thrives in ambiguity and operates with an ownership mindset - proactively defining strategies and driving initiatives forward with minimal guidance.
