Job Overview

The Senior Marketing Manager, CRM is responsible for developing and executing customer lifecycle and retention campaigns that drive engagement, loyalty, and revenue growth. This role leverages customer data, segmentation, and personalization to deliver timely, relevant, and impactful communications across channels such as email, SMS, push, and in-app messaging.


Responsibilities

  • Actively contributes to the CRM and customer lifecycle marketing strategy aligned to business goals
  • Design and manage lifecycle journeys including onboarding, activation, retention, upsell, and win-back
  • Develop segmentation strategies using behavioural, transactional, and demographic data
  • Lead end-to-end execution of CRM campaigns across email, SMS, push, and in-app channels
  • Partner with creative and brand teams to deliver high-quality, on-brand messaging
  • Establish testing and experimentation frameworks (A/B and multivariate testing) to continuously optimize performance
  • Define KPIs and measure CRM performance, including engagement and conversion
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations and improvement
  • Influence stakeholders through clear communication and data-backed recommendations
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and data integrations
  • Stay current on CRM trends, tools, and privacy/compliance requirements

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or retention marketing
  • Proven experience owning CRM execution across multiple channels (email, SMS, push, in-app)
  • Strong understanding of customer lifecycle frameworks, segmentation, and personalization strategies
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, or similar)
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to drive decision-making and optimize performance
  • Experience designing and executing A/B and multivariate tests
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. Toronto, Ontario $95,000 -$128,500 CAD
