Job Overview
The Mid-Market Sales organization is seeking a senior sales leader reporting to the Director of Mid-Market Sales, responsible for upholding executional standards, leadership rigor, and disciplined business inspection across the sales organization.
This role exists to ensure the business runs with clarity, consistency, and accountability. You are responsible for inspecting execution, reinforcing leadership expectations, ensuring forecast discipline, surfacing risk early, and driving adoption of sales initiatives.
You help ensure continuity of leadership priorities and expectations across the Mid-Market Sales organization - reinforcing leadership standards and ensuring initiatives land as intended with sales leaders, managers, sellers, and support teams. This role is sales-owned and partners closely with Sales Operations, Marketing, Enablement, VEP, CS and other cross-functional teams to ensure execution excellence.
Responsibilities
Execution & Business Inspection
Inspect the health of the Mid-Market sales business through disciplined reviews of execution, forecasting rigor, initiative adoption, and leadership effectiveness.
Identify early signals of risk, drift, or inconsistency and escalate with clear, actionable insights.
Ensure sales leaders and teams operate against defined executional standards and expectations.
Leadership Standards & Representation
Extend the leadership standards and expectations of the Director of Mid-Market Sales across the organization.
Support the Director of Mid-Market Sales by representing leadership priorities in forums, reviews, and cross-functional engagements
Reinforce leadership rigor, accountability, and clarity across managers and sellers.
Initiative Adoption & Enablement
Drive adoption of sales initiatives, tools, and programs within the Mid-Market sales team.
Partner with Enablement and Sales Ops to ensure initiatives translate into real seller behavior and productivity gains.
Gather structured feedback from sales teams and leaders to inform continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Partnership (Sales-Led)
Serve as a subject matter expert and representative of the sales leader voice with cross-functional partners.
Work closely with Sales Operations, Enablement, VEP, AI, and Technology teams to support implementation, adoption, and refinement—without owning systems, processes, or operational design.
Translate sales needs and field insights into clear inputs for cross-functional teams.
Strategic Projects & Continuous Improvement
Lead and oversee special projects on behalf of Mid-Market Sales leadership.
Identify execution gaps, productivity challenges, and adoption barriers within the sales organization.
Drive practical, sales-led solutions that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and consistency.
Communication & Readouts
Design and consolidation of executive-level readouts, business reviews, and leadership updates for the Mid-Market Sales organization.
Synthesize complex information into clear narratives that support decision-making and alignment.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in sales leadership, sales strategy execution, or senior sales roles within B2B or SaaS organizations.
Deep understanding of sales execution, leadership cadence, forecasting discipline, and seller productivity.
Proven ability to influence without direct authority and operate effectively in matrixed environments.
Strong executive presence with the ability to represent senior leadership with credibility.
Experience partnering closely with Sales Ops, Marketing, Enablement, Technology teams and other cross-functional teams.
Exceptional communication, inspection, and synthesis skills.
