Account Executive - Mid Market (Growth)
Company Overview
Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.
Job Overview
At Intuit Mailchimp, we power prosperity. We solve the greatest challenge for small and medium
businesses: finding and keeping customers. With over 13 million global users and the combined
power of QuickBooks and Mailchimp, we are delivering a single, transformative platform for
business growth.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a high-performing Mid-Market Account Executive to join our Growth Sales team.
This is a high-investment role within Intuit's most rapidly developing product ecosystem.
While we value deep relationships over call volume, make no mistake: this is a results-driven sales
role. You will be responsible for hunting and closing expansion opportunities within a portfolio of
high-potential mid-market accounts. You aren’t just a "manager"; you are a strategic closer who
shows customers how to scale using our advanced multi-channel tools like SMS, Automation, and
Transactional Messaging.
Responsibilities
How You’ll Make An Impact
Full-Cycle Expansion Sales
- Strategic Prospecting: Use data-driven insights from product usage to proactively target
customers with high-ROI solutions before they realize the need.
- Consultative Discovery: Lead deep-dive sessions to map customer workflows and pitch
tailored technical recommendations that align with their aggressive growth goals.
- Own the Sales Lifecycle: Manage the end-to-end expansion process for existing
accounts, from identifying high-value opportunities to closing "right-fit" solutions that
increase customer lifetime value.
Value-Based Selling
- Act as a Trusted Closer: Move beyond "features" to lead high-level negotiations focused
on ROI and Marketing Strategy.
- Navigate Complexity: Establish yourself as an expert in the MarTech landscape, guiding
customers through SMS regulations and multi-channel orchestration to unlock new revenue
streams.
- Internal Collaboration: Partner with Customer Success and Marketing to ensure a
seamless transition and a high-touch experience during the sales process.
Qualifications
- A Proven Closer: You have 4-5 years of SaaS sales experience (ideally MarTech) with a
track record of hitting and exceeding expansion quotas.
- A Sales Methodologist: You approach your pipeline with a Challenger, SPICED, or
MEDDPICC mindset to qualify and win deals.
- A Strategic Architect: You understand the "puzzle" of multi-channel marketing and can
architect a cohesive customer journey that drives spend.
- A Technical Communicator: You can translate complex concepts like API integrations
into simple, compelling value propositions for business owners.
- A Master of the Details: You pride yourself on rigorous organizational skills, accurate
forecasting, and disciplined pipeline management
