Job Overview
The Mid-Market organization within QuickBooks is accelerating growth upmarket by delivering scalable, enterprise-grade capabilities that enable growing and established businesses to manage their finances, operations, and teams on a connected platform.
The PMO organization is accountable for driving end-to-end delivery of customer, business, and technology outcomes across the Mid-Market portfolio. This leader will work across Product, Engineering, Design, Business Operations, and cross-Intuit platform teams to deliver transformational priorities while ensuring strong execution of in-year commitments.
We are seeking a strategic, execution-focused leader with deep program leadership experience, strong technical acumen, and passion for AI-driven transformation. As Director, PMO (Mid-Market), you will lead a team responsible for orchestrating complex, cross-functional initiatives while driving operating rigor, velocity, and long-term organizational transformation — including GenAI-enabled product development practices.
Responsibilities
Enterprise Program Leadership
Define and drive end-to-end execution of multiple transformational “Big Bets” (1–3 year strategic priorities) while ensuring predictable delivery of in-year roadmap commitments.
Establish clear operating mechanisms to manage interdependencies across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and Go-to-Market teams.
Build and maintain an inspiring rolling 6-quarter roadmap that aligns strategy, capacity, and outcomes.
AI & Development Transformation
Lead organizational transformation to reimagine the software development lifecycle leveraging GenAI, Code Assist, and agent-enabled development processes.
Identify suitable AI technologies and data strategies to address specific customer and operational challenges.
Design and help orchestrate implementation of end-to-end AI-enabled solutions across the Mid-Market portfolio.
Serve as a catalyst to modernize product development processes to increase velocity, quality, and innovation.
Operational Excellence & Velocity
Establish scalable program management processes that deliver high-quality outcomes against aggressive milestones.
Diagnose friction across teams and proactively remove barriers to accelerate delivery.
Balance what is fastest locally with what is best for the broader QuickBooks ecosystem.
Drive disciplined execution with measurable outcomes tied to customer impact, growth, and efficiency.
Organizational & Change Leadership
Influence senior business, product, and engineering leaders to align on shared outcomes and trade-off principles.
Lead change at scale by defining structured approaches to complex transformation initiatives.
Contribute to broader PMO/TPM community capability building across Intuit.
Build strong cross-functional relationships to foster trust, transparency, and shared accountability.
People Leadership
Recruit, grow, and develop high-performing program leaders.
Coach the team to operate with extreme ownership, structured problem solving, and high execution rigor.

Learning & Technical Acumen
10+ years in program management, strategy, consulting, or technology leadership roles.
Strong understanding of software development, platform architectures, and SaaS operating models.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Demonstrated ability to quickly understand new domains while maintaining both broad strategic perspective and deep technical insight when needed.
