Cashflow management is even more critical and severe in B2B Payments.
B2B Payments remain one of the largest untapped opportunities in payments, with trillions of dollars still flowing through fragmented, manual processes. This role is critical to transforming how businesses pay- bringing consumer-grade simplicity to complex and broken checkout flows. We are seeking an experienced Senior Staff Product Manager to lead the end-to-end B2B checkout experience for business payors. This role owns the full lifecycle of how businesses receive, manage, and pay invoices. You will be responsible for driving conversion, retention, and monetization by delivering seamless, intelligent, and scalable payables experiences. This role requires a seasoned product leader with a strong product sense, deep customer empathy and intuition, ability to drive cross-functional and senior stakeholder alignment, a strong sense of urgency and accountability, and exceptional ability to identify and execute high impact opportunities.
Responsibilities
Set the vision, strategy and product roadmap for B2B checkout payments globally, including building core checkout and invoicing capabilities, unlocking net new feature capabilities, and delivering delightful UX experiences to solve the broad needs of our diverse global customer base.
Identify and prioritize growth levers across the payments conversion funnel.
Drive experimentation to optimize conversion and retention.
Champion customer experience through deep customer empathy and research with SMBs and mid market businesses managing payables.
Lead cross-functional teams through clarity of strategy, crisp execution, and measurable outcomes.
Drive rigorous prioritization and investment decisions necessary to deliver your team’s vision and roadmaps
Partner closely with risk,compliance, and finance teams to ensure secure, compliant, and scalable payment experiences.
Influence executive stakeholders with clear product vision, business cases, and measurable outcomes.
Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Experience: A minimum of 8 years of product management experience
Impact Delivery: Proven track record of leading complex product initiatives that result in significant business growth.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams. Experience working with global teams is a plus.
Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies.
Customer Obsession: The ability to wear the customer’s hat at all times and be a customer advocate first
Executive Presence and Influence: The ability to work closely with Senior and C-level executives to develop product strategy and gain alignment.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
