Job Overview
Intuit, the global financial technology platform behind TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, is seeking a Public Affairs Manager to join our Global Corporate Affairs & Public Policy (GCAPP) team, with a focus on paid media and creative strategy.
This role will support the planning and execution of public affairs campaigns that elevate the voice of Intuit’s customers and advance Intuit policy priorities. The role will work closely with internal partners and external agencies to deliver compelling paid media, creative assets, and data-driven insights—while owning day-to-day execution and project management across multiple campaigns.
This position will serve as part of the GCAPP team, reporting to the Director of Global Public Affairs and working directly with colleagues on our Legal, Compliance, and Policy, Consumer Platform, and Platform teams, among others.
The Intuit GCAPP team elevates the voice of Intuit’s customers to policymakers globally. The Public Affairs team sits within GCAPP and is responsible for planning and executing public affairs campaigns to raise Intuit brand awareness to policymakers, as well as to raise awareness of Intuit’s policy issues to policymakers on the state, federal, and global level.
This is a hybrid role with on-site expectations of 3 days per week in our Washington, DC office. We prioritize being together to promote connection and belonging, creativity and innovation, as well as speed, agility, and productivity to accelerate getting work done.
Responsibilities
- Driving end-to-end activities related to all political operations, including management and growth of the Intuit PAC (Intuit 21st Century Leadership Fund)
- Working on new and novel political activities
- Maintaining lobbying and political activity disclosure compliance
- Maximizing Intuit’s investments in associations and community groups (including trade bodies, local memberships, and organizations), and coordinating with our charitable work, including the Intuit Community Impact Fund (ICIF), Intuit for Education, and other activities that can reach and impact policymakers.
- Core political operations responsibilities will include PAC fundraising campaigns, coordinating and executing political engagement for key Intuit executives, interfacing with political organizations on both sides of the aisle to raise Intuit’s awareness and profile with targeted policymakers and influencers, and greater business participation in political and community events
- Building out an internal/external grassroots function.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5-10 combined years of experience in PAC management, fundraising, on political campaigns, in government work, in public affairs and/or with a major corporation, an agency and/or trade association.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
Strong attention to detail paired with the ability to think creatively and solve problems.
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of end-to-end processes in a self-directed way
Experience developing reports or dashboards and translating data into clear insights for senior stakeholders.
Proficiency using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) to support research, drafting, or workflow efficiency preferred
Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) preferred
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
