Junior Commercial Finance Analyst

This amazing opportunity offers a once-in-a lifetime chance to be part of the rapid expansion and growth of our business. We are people light and technology-heavy, and your role is to work alongside the Finance Modelling Managers and as part of the IPF Digital Hub Finance Team, providing financial analysis and expertise across all IPF Digital markets.
You will support the annual business planning process and periodic quarterly rolling forecasts, provide monthly comparisons between actual results and budget, work on financial analysis to support business decisions and enhance business performance, work on various financial cases to improve effectiveness parameters in IPFD markets, and perform the financial modelling and analysis of strategic investments, including any new business cases.
You will work together with Finance Modelling Managers and cooperate with various departments (accounting, data team, sales, product, marketing, credit risk) across 6 markets (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Czechia, Mexico, and Australia). Our matrix structure will give you the opportunity to work closely with Senior Management and Country Managers across the IPFD.
Your daily tasks:
- You will participate in the budgeting process across IPF Digital, ensuring compliance with Group budgeting requirements and providing support to in-market financial controllers where required.
- You will support the quarterly rolling forecast process, ensuring forecasts are robust and a reflection of the latest trading position to support external financial guidance.
- You will support in providing a robust challenge to the output with the aim of improving the quality of budgeting across IPF Digital.
- You will support Senior Commercial Finance Manager with the delivery of forecasts and budgets as well as scenario testing as part of the budget process.
- You will support consolidating country budgets to produce the IPF Digital P&L, Balance Sheet & Cashflow.
- You will undertake the analysis of revenue and impairment trends across the IPF Digital organization.
- You will participate in undertaking the analysis of the cost base and providing challenges around investment undertaken by the business.
- You will support building financial models and analyse key projects.
- You will provide a good service to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that the output matches their requirements and expectations.
- You will work with other departments to get experience in other areas of the business (accounting, data team, sales, product, marketing, credit risk).
- You will work independently in an efficient and focused way.

Skills
- Fluent Polish written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent English written and verbal communication skills
- Analysis and problem-solving skills
- Excellent MS Excel skills (VBA skills would be of additional benefit)
- SQL skills would be of additional benefit
- Ability to work independently and operating to tight deadlines
- Ability and willingness to develop self
- Ability to prepare reports and recommendations
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Effective organisation, prioritisation, and time management
- Flexible approach, to ensure deadlines are met and support is delivered as required
- Positive mind set – ‘can-do attitude’
Knowledge
- Knowledge of financial modelling methodologies
- Strong demonstrable numeracy skills at appropriate level
- Knowledge of accounting principles would be of additional benefit
Experience
- Experience of financial modelling
- Experience of FP&A in a financial services environment
- Worked within digital financial services (Desirable)
Qualifications
- Educated to Degree level in accounting/ finance, economics, or management subject
