The role

Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the IPF Digital business in Mexico. This includes ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial information and submitting relevant reports in a timely manner in the following areas: accounting, controlling, reporting, purchasing, invoice management, taxes, payments, and related analysis for the market.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented finance professional looking to progress and develop their career within a growing business. You will have comprehensive support in every phase, working side by side with other Finance professionals at Global level.

The responsibilities

• Take accountability for the purchase invoice process, from approval to payment and finally to record keeping and filing
• Control and record of monthly expenses based on the expense verification template, paid with petty cash and corporate credit card
• Support on corporate credit card issues and monitoring the reception of monthly statements
• Ensure that the business complies with relevant local regulatory requirements and IPF Digital standards for accounting, reporting, tax and financial control
• - CFDIs and “payment complement”
• Cost accounting, invoice handling and payment issuing
• Monitoring monthly results and cost control according to Budget
• Reconciliation of bank accounts and business systems
• Prepare income statement and balance sheet on a monthly basis in Navision accounting software
• Take responsibility for the regular reporting of financial performance in accordance with accounting policies and timetables in an accurate and timely manner.

• Ensure that the monthly timetable of reporting deadlines to IPF Group Finance are met and managed in a pro-active way

• Responsible for ensuring that tax compliance of the Mexican business is managed effectively, working under guidance from Controller and Tax advisors

• Prepare the monthly income invoice

• Support in the preparation of Company Annual Accounts and Tax Returns for Mexico

• Support in the elaboration and integration of local Budget and Rolling Forecast

• Work on specific finance projects as required and directed, providing business financial planning and analysis support

• Control of fixed assets, additions, and deletions in the system

• Elaboration and cancellation of invoices in the system and before the SAT.

• Handling of different banking platforms

• Advanced Excel skills
• Proactive
• Financial control and reporting (IFRS
• Knowledge of maintaining all aspects of financial reporting and control discipline
• Working knowledge of accounting systems (Navision desired)
• Working knowledge of tax requirements Mexico
• Banking (Desired)
• Financial Services experience is ideal but not essential
• Experience in SOFOM, would be an advantage
