About Team

• You’ll join the IPF Digital Hub DataOps Team, a collaborative group focused on building and evolving scalable data solutions that power our fintech operations.

• We work closely with Finance and cross-functional teams across global markets, ensuring data is reliable, accessible, and drives informed decision-making.

This role is based in Warsaw, with responsibility for initiatives across all IPF Digital operations and markets.

Here’s how you’ll put your skills into action

• Maintain and Develop Data Systems - Develop and maintain data solutions within Snowflake, with a strong focus on SQL-based development, including stored procedures and Python integration, ensuring efficient, scalable, and reliable data access to meet operational requirements.

• Evolve Data Platform - Support the ongoing optimisation and enhancement of the Snowflake-based data platform, improving existing data models, processes, and overall performance.

• Develop ETL and Data Pipelines - Design, implement, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data pipelines using SQL and Python, leveraging AWS services such as S3 and Lambda to ensure efficient and reliable data ingestion and transformation.

• Ensure Data Quality - Work closely with the Finance function and other departments to ensure data sources are accurate, reliable, and meet business requirements.

• Deliver Reporting Solutions - Maintain effective and high-quality reporting systems, incorporating feedback to continuously improve reporting frameworks.

• Promote Safe Practices - Follow and promote safe, healthy, and responsible working methods, fostering a culture of compliance within the team.

• Customer Focus - Ensure solutions are designed with both internal and external customers in mind, maintaining a proactive, customer-centric approach.

• Communication and language skills: Communicate confidently and clearly in both Polish and English, adapting your language and style to suit diverse audiences. You’ll facilitate collaboration across international teams, ensuring shared understanding and smooth delivery across markets.
  

We also know that experience counts – and we believe that the following can support your success:

• Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases such as Snowflake or MySQL, including performance optimisation and working with large datasets.

• Practical knowledge of Python and ETL processes, with exposure to AWS environments, Unix systems, or containerisation tools like Docker.

• Experience working in data-focused roles within fintech, financial services, or similarly data-driven environments.
