What’s the role?
The Marketing Automation & Personalisation Engineer will play a crucial role in leading the creation, build, and delivery of marketing automation projects across Lendi Group. This role involves utilising enterprise CRM systems, with a focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
The ideal candidate will provide innovative ideas to optimise customer journeys, redefine and design processes, implement new strategies, and offer technical leadership and support for Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This role will be part of an engineering team and report to an engineering team lead, while closely collaborating with customer acquisition and journey teams, as well as data pipeline teams.
Job Description
- Design, implement, test, and optimise complex marketing automation workflows and event-triggered journeys while ensuring compliance.
- Coordinate delivery of customer communications via Salesforce Marketing Cloud marketing automation with EDM, SMS, and integrated channels to support business goals.
- Create highly sophisticated and personalised content with AMPscript.
- Support the telephony integration with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM, including building and maintaining service journeys and automations as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Act as an admin of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, managing data synchronisation, core data operations, and data extensions using SQL.
- Support the data team in managing data structure.
- Continuously review data completeness and integrity within the marketing automation platform; highlight gaps and issues and take action to resolve them.
- Work closely with Sales teams on telephony campaigns and optimisations.
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other systems.
- Guide and educate the business on automation best practices and options based on measurement, experience, and frameworks at Lendi Group.
- Act as a SME, guiding, leading, and training a Customer Journeys Specialist around customer journeys (CJ), customer lifetime value (CLV), customer lifecycle management (CLM), and automation marketing
Qualifications
- 3+ years of digital marketing and marketing automation experience.
- Skills and experience with Salesforce and Marketing Cloud will be essential.
- Knowledge of Marketing Cloud Personalisation (Interaction Studio) will be desirable.
- Previous commercial experience with customer campaign and journey management.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle and familiarity with scripting languages, especially SQL and AMPScript.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications and/or Salesforce CRM certifications will be highly regarded,
- Knowledge of Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 will also be highly regarded.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to proactively identify, understand, communicate, and act on current and future risks.
