About the role
Reporting directly to the Chief Distribution Officer, this is a strategic leadership role focused on driving the growth, adoption, and optimisation of Aussie’s white label lending and non-mortgage product suite – including asset finance, insurance, and car loans. You’ll lead a team of 8, with 3 direct reports, to strengthen market penetration, partner engagement, and broker alignment, ensuring our propositions are competitive, compelling, and fit-for-purpose.
This role plays a critical part in shaping the future of our lending platform and customer experience, using broker and partner insights to guide product evolution. You’ll own distribution performance, lead OKR delivery, manage budgets, and help influence how Aussie's product ecosystem is built and taken to market.
Job Description

Leadership & Strategic Direction:
- Collaborate with the Chief Distribution Officer and Executive Management team to drive the strategic direction of Lendi Group Distribution of Non-Mortgage Products, ensuring alignment with company Vision and Values.
- Foster a high-performing culture by demonstrating solidarity within the Distribution leadership team and broader Group Senior Leadership team.
- Lead the development and execution of strategic plans tailored to meet broker and customer needs in Non-Mortgage Products, in close collaboration with the Chief Distribution Officer.
- Develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies to maintain the white label lending participation and penetration in line with the Lendi Groups budgets.
- Drive an operating model framework and strategies across internal and external stakeholders to ensure fidelity over the value chain and leading business improvement initiatives.
- Establish productive relationships with broker partners and external suppliers to support the execution of distribution strategies of both the White Label lending products and the Non-Mortgage Products.
Broker Value Proposition:
- Safeguard and continue to refine the current broker value proposition within the network with a focus on a best on panel broker experience.
- Collaborate with relevant business units internally to ensure the fidelity of the value chain that underpins the Whie Label BVP.
- Collaborate with external partners; current White Label lending partners, platform providers, servicing agents, solicitors and future 3rd parties to support the BVP.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the distribution growth team, fostering innovation, creativity, and excellence in execution.
Analytics & Project Management:
- Develop cutting-edge sales metrics and performance frameworks, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Lead initiatives aimed at improving critical performance, risk, and compliance metrics, ensuring projects are prioritized, scoped, and executed effectively.
- Represent the White Label and Non-Mortgage Distribution on business-wide projects, ensuring resources are allocated and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Lead the development and completion of Business Cases, Distribution Board Papers, Sales Insights, and Reports.
Change Management:
- Sponsor initiatives aimed at improving critical performance, risk, and compliance metrics within the Distribution teams.
- Identify relevant and impactful sales performance projects and initiatives, ensuring they are appropriately prioritized, scoped, and executed.
- Maintain an integrated overview of projects to ensure optimum outcomes, allocating and managing appropriate resources.
- Ensure effective communication and change management strategies are implemented consistently to drive adoption and minimize disruption.
Risk Management & Compliance:
- Cultivate a culture of risk management and compliance, ensuring adherence to company policies, legislative requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Manage customer information in compliance with regulatory requirements and implement disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
- Complete all mandatory training within required time frames and oversee budget allocation for operating expenses, optimizing resource utilization for maximum impact and ROI.
Key Measurements:
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the Aussie Products Distribution team, fostering innovation and excellence in execution.
- Monitor key measurements including delivery of BU plans, achievement of KPIs, AEP results, customer service scores, sales results compliance, conversion, productivity, portfolio growth, and overall settlements.
Qualifications
- Significant experience leading high performing sales teams or in a senior relationship management role in the mortgage industry.
- Experience in channel management and franchising
- Demonstrated capability to lead a large high-performing Sales team.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking at Head of level.
- Ability to create and work in a risk-resilient environment.
- Confident communicator, able to present ideas to the Executive Team and below.
- Commitment to deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers
