Job Description
As Jr. QA Analyst, you will apply your hands-on experience to be an important member in one of our agile development teams, collaborating with product managers and engineers throughout the software development process to refine and groom requirements, design test cases, perform both manual and automated testing, and serve as a champion of quality within the team.
The role:
- Collaborate closely with the QA Team Leader to plan, prepare, and execute high-impact testing initiatives
- Work cross-functionally with developers and product owners in an agile, fast-paced environment
- Contribute to sprint planning with testing estimations and requirements analysis
- Design, develop, and execute test cases/scripts using best practices and appropriate tools
- Implement and manage Test Case Management and Defect Management processes
- Create detailed test cases in Gherkin format and automate execution where appropriate
- Perform thorough regression testing and provide feedback on tests written by developers
- Track and communicate test progress and results, ensuring consistently high-quality delivery
Qualifications
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in QA roles
- Solid grasp of QA methodologies, tools, and industry best practices
- Proven experience across a range of testing types: Functional, Regression, Smoke, UAT, End-to-End, and Exploratory
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly understand complex systems in an agile development environment
- Confident using ticketing tools like JIRA for issue tracking and team collaboration
- Clear communicator, capable of providing concise QA status and progress updates
- Thrives in fast-paced settings, with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to delivery
- Proactive, well-presented, and able to engage professionally across teams and stakeholders
Bonus Points For:
- Automation testing experience (UI or API), especially using Playwright and Python
- Exposure to Salesforce
- Fintech industry experience
