What we are looking for:

Our business development team is responsible for the growth of our Personal Loan products used by finance brokers. The primary responsibility of this role is to onboard new finance aggregations, brokers, reactivate old accounts and conduct onboarding training of our credit policy and how to use our online broker portals.

MONEYME is a disruptor in the finance space and we do things differently compared to other lenders. This Business Development Manager role focusses heavily on growth and less about account management and workshopping deals as we have another support team that manages the relationship with existing brokers.

To be successful in this role you must have the following:

  • Experience in the broker and finance industry with experience in business development, ideally with a focus on broker acquisition
  • Strong experience in consumer lending either from a broker or lending business perspective
  • Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
  • Ability to work autonomously and complete tasks.
  • Experience in using tools such as DocuSign for contract agreements.
  • Have a positive, inclusive and collaborative approach to work.
  • Ability to go above and beyond to help MONEYME clients and customers.
  • Have the confidence to challenge and strive for continual improvement and growth.
  • Be a relationship builder with the ability to initiate and drive conversations.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent networker and impeccable on personal presentation to represent MONEYME at events.
