About the Team
Our Product team is the beating heart of MYOB. From discovery through to delivery plus Data and Insights, it’s made up of a broad and multi-disciplined group of specialists focused on designing products that help our customers optimise their business potential and creating best-in-class customer and user experiences.
As a Product Manager, you'll understand our customers deeply and will be responsible for product planning and implementation throughout the lifecycle including defining the strategy, building and validating problem hypothesis, gathering data, interpreting insights and prioritising customer needs. Collaborating with cross functional delivery teams, marketing and support to ensure seamless product experiences for customers and our platform.
We empower our teams to innovate and experiment when solving the important problems for our customers who are at the centre of everything we do. Working closely with our strategy partners, our partnerships sales team as well as a wide range of other stakeholders, you will be an evangelist for this product at MYOB. You will use your vision and creativity, coupled with your commercial and pragmatic approach, to define, prioritise and drive our strategic goals as well as being a conduit to drive a more integrated experience for our customers.
The experience we'd love you to bring
- Demonstrated experience working within a Product Management and Partnerships space
- Previous experience with strategic partnership ecosystems
- Proven capability leading a sophisticated product roadmap that balances short-term opportunities with longer-term strategic activities
- Insights (quantitative and qualitative) driven and commercially oriented with passion to achieve results
- Experience communicating and demonstrating products features and benefits
- Ability to balance competing priorities and working with development teams utilising Agile methodology
- Experience engaging with customers to validate product ideas (including usability research and idea validation)
- Ability to build trusting, substantial relationships with customers, peers, stakeholders, partners and suppliers
- Exposure to having built out a marketplace for customers would be highly desirable
