About the role
At MYOB we are focused on solving the problems that matter for our customers. To bring this vision to life we have a dedicated Customer Platforms domain of passionate product people that enable our internal partners to provide the best sales, support, and service experience.
As the Platform Lead you will play a meaningful role in defining, leading and delivering on the overall product and engineering strategies for the Customer Domain. Working with engineering and product managers you will be responsible for improving our ability to run and operate our products whilst ensuring that what we build is simultaneously delivered successfully to market and sets us up for ongoing evolution and scale.
With strong people leadership capabilities, you will build and empower impactful teams. Utilising Lean and Agile methodologies, you will be empowering teams to take accountability for their success, delivering new and improved service offerings while ensuring operational excellence of the platforms and systems that we have built and operate.
The skills you'll need
- Highly developed leadership skills in an engineering environment, with extensive experience balancing priorities and leading effectively across the organisation.
- Experience in leveraging vendor relationships
- Experience in leading product and delivery teams
- Experience in working with development teams in an agile delivery environment to drive outstanding customer outcomes
- Demonstrable ability to multi-task, prioritise and self-motivate
- Have outstanding communication skills and thrive at delivering clear and concise messages that resonate with all audiences
- Build collaborative relationships with customers, users, and stakeholders to understand their problems and communicate our solutions.
