By joining the Tech team, you’ll be an integral part of building our all-in-one business management platform.

We are currently looking for a Developer to help us expand our capability in the Platform Services space. In this position you will build, own, and run services used by multiple systems across the MYOB product landscape. You will play a pivotal role in building and deploying scalable, secure, highly available, and reliable applications hosted on AWS. You will work collaboratively with a highly cohesive unit and will always be looking to help up-skill and support your teammates.

We are a cross-functional team consisting of Product Managers, BAs, QAs, Developers, and Engineering/Delivery Managers within the Platform Services division of MYOB. Our technology remit is vast, varied, challenging and ripe for improvements. We strive for product and technical excellence with a relentless approach to delivering value to our customers frequently. We believe in completely owning and running the systems we build. We step up to our challenges and back ourselves to drive to great outcomes.

With a passion for delivering high-quality code, you will be a natural collaborator who can own the development of our Sales, Service and Community clouds.

What else we would love you to bring;

- Prior experience working as a Developer in an agile team environment

- Experience with modern programming languages and technologies, including Java, Kotlin, TypeScript

- Ability to analyse and resolve complex technical issues

- Experience deploying cloud-based solutions to AWS utilising best practices for observability, scalability, resilience, and recovery.

- Experience with source code management and integrating 3rd party web services

- Experienced with working in a DevOps environment and CI/CD processes and tools
