About the Role
In the role of Senior Manager of Social Media and Events at MYOB, you will be responsible for completing our brand's presence across different social media channels and organising engaging events. Leading a dynamic team, you will implement effective strategies that resonate with our audience, ensuring consistent brand storytelling and memorable customer experiences. Your expertise will be vital in elevating our social media and event initiatives, positioning MYOB as a leader in the market.
What You'll be Doing
- Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies that align with the company’s overall brand and marketing goals.
- Apply content to boost brand awareness, engagement, and growth on various platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Build content plans that address the needs of different audience segments across our owned channels.
- Manage the execution of the content strategy with effective planning, measurement, and optimisation of content and formats.
- Coordinate the delivery of engaging content programs across all channels – digital and traditional – to optimise value and increase engagement.
- Lead a team of social and content specialists who will be developing and delivering the work.
- Ensure content is consistent in messaging, tone, and style.
About You
- Significant experience in content strategy, with a proven track record of developing and completing successful content strategies that engage audiences and drive measurable results.
- Strong understanding of SEO, web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and digital content platforms (e.g., CMS, social media management tools).
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana) and content calendar management.
- Proven experience in events management or the ability to lead a team of delivery experts.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Successful experience in generating compelling social content and working closely with collaborators, customers, partners, and team members.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and keep team members engaged and on task.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior team members.
