People Partner

Our People Partners work closely with leaders across Australia and New Zealand to deliver exceptional employee experiences and drive great business outcomes. In this role, you’ll be a trusted advisor on all things people – from day-to-day coaching through to complex ER, organisational change and strategic workforce planning. You’ll help shape how we support, grow and retain our people as we continue to do big things across MYOB.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders across AU & NZ as their go-to People Partner, providing strategic HR advice and coaching on all people matters.
- Lead complex employee relations matters – from conflict resolution and performance conversations through to disciplinary and grievance processes – ensuring fair, consistent outcomes.
- Support organisational change, including workforce planning, restructures and talent moves, to ensure MYOB is set up for tomorrow.
- Champion exceptional employee experiences by helping leaders embed PX initiatives, policies and programs that bring our EVP and values to life.
- Use people data and insights to spot trends, risks and opportunities, and influence decisions that drive performance and culture.
- Mentor and support PX team members, and contribute to broader PX initiatives and projects across MYOB.
Skills you will need:
- Deep generalist HR / People Partnering experience in fast-paced environments, with a strong focus on employee relations and business partnering.
- Strong working knowledge of Australian and New Zealand employment legislation and how it plays out day-to-day for leaders.
- Proven track record managing complex ER cases with discretion, sound judgement and a calm, solutions-focused approach.
- Experience delivering HR/PX projects and programs, ideally across organisational development, L&D and talent.
- Confidence working with HR and talent systems, reporting and analytics to inform decisions and tell the story behind the data.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent experience), with strong communication and stakeholder skills that build trust and credibility.
