Are you ready to revolutionise the financial advice industry in Australia? We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our fintech powerhouse!
At HUB24, we're building cutting-edge financial platforms that are set to transform how advisers work, making quality financial advice more accessible and affordable for all Australians. As our new Senior Full Stack Developer, you'll be at the forefront of this exciting mission.
You'll dive into:

• Tackling complex data challenges with our advanced caching, data lake, and pipeline systems
• Developing game-changing public and private APIs
• Mentoring fellow engineers and driving technical excellence
We're looking for a tech enthusiast who:

This is a full time role based in our Melbourne CBD office.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement sophisticated engineering solutions with clean, testable code and build reusable microservices that integrate across organisational teams.
- Develop and maintain public APIs to be consumed by external systems.
- Design and implement advanced caching strategies for high-performance applications.
- Architect efficient data workflows covering ingestion, transformation, and computation.
- Balance technical excellence with practical delivery timelines.
- Implement multi-layer caching solutions to optimise application response times.
- Create and maintain comprehensive developer documentation and coding standards.
- Perform thorough peer code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Track and manage technical debt with clear remediation strategies.
- Maintain detailed system documentation including change requests and problem resolutions.
- Guide technical direction while addressing business challenges.
- Champion Agile practices and actively participate in ceremonies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Software Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Software Engineer and/or any senior technical position.
- Proficiency in Microsoft .NET development using C# (.NET Core).
- Web development technology using HTML, CSS, JS, Typescript and at least one web application framework.
- Proficient in Node.js / MongoDb and GCP (not essential)
- Data lake technology (e.g. Databricks) - not essential but highly regarded.
- Practical experience with automated unit testing and strong documentation skills.
- Extensive experience designing and developing enterprise grade software.
- Excellent understanding of systems development within a formal Software Development Life Cycle methodology including sound experience in the Scrum agile framework.
- Experience with source control management systems including Git and continuous integration/deployment environments.
- Proven track record of building scalable enterprise applications.
