With our rapid growth, our team is ready to welcome an experienced and driven person to help lead our commercial installation team. The ideal for candidate for this position has commercial solar experience. We are looking for someone who can lead by example, organize projects/teams/supplies, and maintain installation goals set by our Commercial Team.

**This position will be based out of our Elk Grove Village, IL office**

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Assist the Commercial Foreman in leading the installation team for the projects assigned to you
● Review plan design and install all components of the solar system
● Schedule team members/equipment/materials
● Communicate between Project Managers, Commercial Foreman, subcontractors, and installers
● Electrically run the wire for AC/DC system
● Mount racking and electrical equipment
● Maintain inventory for each installation
● The ability to work in a team environment as crews typically work in numbers of 2-5
● Maintain a clean worksite
● Supervise all team members to ensure compliance with company processes and OSHA safety procedures
● Operate in a professional manner on each job site
● Miscellaneous errands including, but not limited to: vehicle maintenance, warehouse organization, office upgrades, etc.
● Additional duties as assigned

EDUCATION:
• High school diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:
• 2+ years of solar installation experience (required)
• 1-3 years of construction experience (strongly preferred)

COMPETENCIES – SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
● Knowledge of all aspects/components of a commercial solar installation
● Skills with a variety of hand/power tools
● Reliable transportation and tools necessary to complete installation tasks
● Capability to travel for project specific work
● Comfortable working on rooftops of any heights/pitch
● Time management & organizational skills
● Ability to lift, pull, and push materials to complete assigned job task
● Strong understanding of commercial regulations; solar regulations a bonus
● Ability to meet hard and fast deadlines
● Strong teamwork skills
● Strong attention to detail
● A clean driving record and valid driver’s license
● Professional appearance

Pay range for this role is $30.00-$35.00 an hour, depending on experience.
