Ensure company payroll taxes and payroll garnishments are successfully processed. Assist Senior Payroll and Garnishment Partner as point of contact for Payroll tax and garnishment issues and questions.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Work with OSV on all payroll tax activities, including compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
2. Stay up to date on all legislative and regulatory tax changes to determine the impact on current processes and systems
3. Oversee filing of local, state and federal payroll tax returns and review for completeness and accuracy with OSV.
4. Oversee processing of garnishments and payments with OSV.
5. Review and reconcile quarterly tax information with payroll system information.
6. Review and reconcile garnishment payments.
7. Oversee any tax deposit penalties.
8. Research and resolve all inquiries from governmental tax entities with OSV.
9. Apply for new tax numbers with new states or local jurisdictions as required.
10. Assist with tax research, planning, and correspondence with OSV.
11. Process quarterly Social Security Number verification with Social Security Administration and resolve all miss-matches.
12. Assist leadership and associates with payroll tax questions and concerns
13. Reconcile payroll tax and payroll garnishment bank accounts monthly.
***Pay Range for this position is - $50k
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related areas
EXPERIENCE:
1-2 years payroll tax experience in a multi-state environment.

3. Must be able to effectively communicate in writing, on the phone, and in person.
4. Understanding of payroll taxes.

6. Must be able to work effectively with diverse personalities and maintain professionalism when working with employees and vendors.
7. Must be able to identify problems and suggest/implement solutions.
8. Strong numeric skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, ability to navigate Internet and Intranet.
9. Must be able to multi-task while completing projects under critical time constraints.
