The Engagement Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of client projects, leads consulting engagements and workstreams, and leads client project teams in advising our clients on important business challenges. Project responsibilities include leading problem-solving efforts, serving as a client advisor, driving client communications, and acquiring subject matter expertise. Although the Engagement Manager leads a project team, the position is also expected to contribute as a stand-alone leader in client service, client development, and talent development.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Model and utilize project management methodology when working with clients and project teams.
2. Identify internal process modifications the drive client engagement and solution adoption.
3. Develop and implement a testing approach for scenario development and execution.
4. Develop and execute training for end-users.
5. Design and implement the change adoption process.
6. Manage project teams simultaneously across different clients.
7. Identify and proactively mitigate project risks.
8. Foster working relationships with client personnel at all levels.
9. Facilitate and lead client meetings.
10. Develop implementation strategy plans and coordinate project team activities.
11. Directs the week-to-week tasks of resources from both the client and Implementation.
12. Manage client deliverables and quality assurance.
13. Actively participate in practice and business development initiatives
14. Drive team member engagement and break down roadblocks to a successful implementation strategy.
15. Train/partner with new team members.
16. Participate in user groups or special projects as business needs require.
17. Travel up to 20-30% of the time.
Salary Range for this position: $68,000 - $136,000
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree (4-year degree BA or BS) or equivalent related experience.
EXPERIENCE:
1. 4+ years of project management experience.
2. Experience preferred with SQL, HTML, XML.
3. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
4. PMP Certification preferred.
