The Rotational Analyst Program is designed as an entry into banking for motivated professionals who are seeking to build a career in the industry to provide broad exposure to the operations of Nelnet Bank. This position rotates through multiple departments and supports both daily and strategic initiatives. This role is ideal for candidates seeking a comprehensive understanding of banking functions, operations, and regulatory requirements while building a strong foundation for long-term career growth.This position offers a hybrid work option. Nelnet values flexibility and understands the importance of work-life integration. Our hybrid work environment allows associates to work remotely for part of the week, while also fostering collaboration and team connection through in-office presence in our Draper Utah office. The in-office requirement will fluctuate depending on the current need of the rotation and offers flexibility for candidates still attending college courses on campus through graduation.

Job Responsibilities:
Rotate through key departments (e.g. Credit, Compliance, Operations, Risk) within the bank to support current initiatives.
Work closely with Nelnet leaders to learn practices at all levels of the institution.
Assist with process improvement, data analysis, reporting, and documentation.
Support leadership and department managers with research, projects, and execution.
Participate in cross-departmental initiatives and special projects as institutional needs evolve.
Gain working knowledge of banking regulations, internal controls, and practices.
Contribute to customer- focused initiatives
Collaborate with different teams across the company by communicating, problem solving, and planning.
Provide support for Bank Board of Director and Community Reinvestment Act activities.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor degree in a quantitative discipline such as Finance, Accounting, Business, Quantitative Analytics or Technology completed by May 2026.

Pay range for this role is $60,000-$65,000 annually, depending on experience.
