The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Financial Crime to join our Risk and Compliance team and play a significant role in helping Netwealth and its subsidiaries to reduce the risks of money laundering, terrorist financing, financial crime and fraud.
This is a new position, responsible for the creation, execution, and monitoring of the Netwealth Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) Program. You will also ensure we comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
As Senior Manager, Financial Crime you will address audit findings and implement the required uplift in our AML CTF framework, policies, and procedures. You will also oversee fraud investigations and reporting, working closely with the business and other stakeholders to prevent, detect and resolve fraud incidents.

About you
With a track record for delivery, and experience building and uplifting capability, you know what great looks like. Stakeholder management and influencing, across all levels of an organisation are a big part of your tool kit, as is your critical thinking, problem solving and investigative skills.
This is a hands-on role, so it is essential you bring the following skills and experience.

Extensive experience in managing and leading AML/CTF programmes and conducting fraud investigations in a financial services environment

AML/CFT, financial crime and fraud Line 2 Risk and Compliance expertise, with the ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements and industry best practices

Experience in overseeing KYC/CDD and ECDD processes, including conducting due diligence on complex or high-risk customers

Experience in managing and reporting suspicious matters, incidents, breaches, and other regulatory obligations to AUSTRAC and other authorities

Demonstrated sound understanding of the financial services industry and the regulatory environment

Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues

Superannuation, Investments, IDPS and Managed Account experience is preferred.
