The opportunity

The Infrastructure Team is responsible for managing the Netwealth Technology Infrastructure and delivering infrastructure projects across our hybrid cloud platform. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will significantly contribute to the technical support infrastructure, process and procedure development and the strategic direction of Netwealth’s technology infrastructure.

A crucial part of this role involves deploying and configuring infrastructure as code. You’ll also manage key shared resources for building, testing and deploying infrastructure, ensuring our systems remain robust and efficient.

About you

As an experienced Senior Systems Engineer, you excel at improving the reliability and operability of mission-critical services. You enjoy collaborating with engineering teams for operational efficiency, managing stakeholder expectations with ease.

Technical skills and experience include:

• Hands-on experience with deploying and configuring Infrastructure As Code, with a passion for automation
• Design, deploy and administer hybrid cloud platform infrastructure, ensuring high availability and maintaining infrastructure services’ health across BAU and Infrastructure projects
• Strong networking experience to implement and manage networking solutions, with core switches, dynamic routing protocols and performance and reliability metrics
• Expertise in managing and optimising infrastructure and cloud services (Azure, PowerShell, VMware, AD, DNS, Firewall)
• Experience with DevOps code pipelines and tooling like Octopus, Azure DevOps and Terraform
