The opportunity

Our Finance team is responsible for the financial management and operations of Netwealth and its subsidiaries. Due to recent acquisitions and continued growth, we are excited to welcome a new Accounts Payable Officer to support our expanding operations and ensure smooth financial processes.

You will play a vital role in our finance team, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Your key responsibilities will include;

• processing accounts payable and receivable transactions,

• reconcile bank statements and maintain up-to-date AP records,

• assist with month-end reports,

• support regulatory requirements, and year-end closing processes

• respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal staff.

• maintain documentation and compliance with regulations, policies and procedures

About you

You are a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer with proven experience in a similar role, high proficiency in AP and AR software (e.g., Concur, Xero), and strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Your positive 'can do' attitude, excellent organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively are essential. Good communication and interpersonal skills, a personable nature, and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders are also important.

You must be based in Melbourne, with a requirement to be in the office at least 3 days a week (potentially 4 during probation).
