As General Manager Financial Products, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of Netwealth’s financial products, including superannuation, Investor Directed Portfolio Services (IDPS), managed accounts, private markets, annuities, insurance, term deposits, and emerging partnership-driven offerings.
This is not a business-as-usual product management role. You will be at the forefront of continuous innovation—enhancing and evolving platform products to deliver differentiated, product-led experiences that improve adviser efficiency and client outcomes.
You’ll work cross-functionally with legal, compliance, technology, and operations to ensure products are scalable, compliant, and commercially viable.
You will:
Launch and scale new financial product, services, and partnerships, driving product innovation and differentiation, ensuring market leadership and platform relevance
Embed governance and compliance into every stage of the product lifecycle, balancing innovation with regulatory rigour.
Oversee third-party issuer relationships, ensuring due diligence, disclosure updates, and seamless platform integration.
Shape the future of financial products, continuously improving and expanding offerings to meet evolving client and adviser needs.
About you
You are a strategic product leader with deep experience in financial services and a passion for innovation. You thrive in dynamic environments and are ready to lead a team that’s already performing strongly, but with the opportunity to take things to the next level.
Skills and experience include:
Proven success in financial product management within platforms, wealth management, or asset management.
Strong understanding of platform products and the broader financial services ecosystem.
Expertise in regulatory frameworks including superannuation, insurance, and product governance.
Commercial acumen with experience in P&L ownership, pricing strategy, and partnership negotiation.
Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, commerce, law, or a related discipline (postgraduate preferred).
