The opportunity
As Head of Trustee Operations, you'll work closely with the COO to shape and execute operational strategies that drive better outcomes for superannuation members.
You'll play a central in supporting trustee governance, preparing high-quality board and committee papers, and ensuring regulatory obligations are met with integrity and professionalism. Your oversight will help enable smart decision-making and maintain strong relationships with regulators and service providers.
In addition, you'll drive financial and risk excellent by managing operational risk frameworks, supporting budgeting and performance monitoring and maintaining robust yet agile controls. You'll lead process improvements that enhance member experience, manage key vendor relationships, and champion a culture of continuous improvement across the business.
About you:
You're a seasoned professional with deep superannuation expertise, a strong grasp of regulatory frameworks, a proven ability to support C-suite executives and deliver meaningful results. Your deep understanding of regulations and governance frameworks positions you to navigate complex compliance landscapes with confidence.
With a strategic mindset and hands-on approach, you'll ensure our operations remain resilient, compliant and member-focused. Your excellent communication skills and financial acumen allow you to engage stakeholders effectively, solve problems proactively, and drive continuous improvement in everything you do.
Specific skills and experience include:
financial services, ideally superannuation or wealth management
deep understanding of superannuation regulations and trustee governance
experience with Registrable Superannuation Entities (RSEs) and APRA standards
strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability
strong communication and stakeholder engagement
curious, analytical, and collaborative leadership style
financial acumen and a passion for member outcomes
