The Opportunity

Netwealth is seeking a strategic, delivery-focused Product Manager to lead the roadmap and execution of a data integration platform that connects external systems to our core infrastructure. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract covering parental leave.

In this role, you’ll shape the future of how data flows between financial advice tools and Netwealth’s platform, enabling unified insights and seamless cross-team delivery. You’ll work across engineering, design, and business stakeholders to define product direction, lead discovery, and deliver scalable solutions that improve adviser and user experiences.

This is a unique opportunity to drive product outcomes in a space that underpins platform connectivity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Be an expert in your product, its intended customer(s), and the problem space

• Execute the product strategy and set short-, mid-, and long-term product objectives

• Ensure OKRs are in place and used to guide and measure value delivery

• Lead product discovery through customer interviews, competitive research, and data analysis

• Define and prioritise problem spaces and opportunities within the data integration domain

• Collaborate with design and engineering to ideate, test, and deliver solutions

• Champion a product-led mindset and coach the team in product thinking

• Identify key product metrics to track and report on product health, using data to guide future priorities

• Manage BAU and regulatory updates, including fee structures and compliance changes

• Influence stakeholders and advocate for product decisions with confidence and clarity

About You

You’re a strategic thinker with a passion for solving complex problems and delivering meaningful outcomes. You thrive in cross-functional teams and are comfortable navigating in a fast-paced environment. Your skills include:

• Proven experience working in agile Scrum teams

• 5–8 years of experience in a product management role, ideally with exposure to data-rich platforms and fin-tech industries - financial services is essential

• Strong understanding of product-led operating models

• Demonstrated product experience in analytical domains, particularly data and data integration

• Demonstrated ability to conduct discovery, define product visions, and lead experimentation

• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills

• Confidence and conviction to advocate for your product direction

• Lead the build of a new system powering complex back end operations across investments, investor services and risk

• Lead the upliftment of client and advisor reporting!

• Lead discovery and delivery of a unified multi asset ordering platform, streamlining fragmented workflows and solving real world pain points across operations and advice
