The opportunity
You’ll assist in leading a team within our Super Payments stream, responsible for the accurate and timely processing of superannuation deposits and withdrawals.
This is a hands‑on leadership role combining people leadership with strong technical expertise, operating in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring service levels are consistently met while balancing accuracy, risk and client experience.
What you'll do
Lead, coach and support team members through regular one‑on‑ones, feedback and day‑to‑day guidance
Provide technical leadership and hands‑on support for complex or escalated Super Payments matters
Monitor queues, workloads and priorities to ensure service turnaround and quality standards are met
Drive a customer‑centric, accountable and high‑performing team culture aligned to Netwealth values
Identify process inefficiencies, risks and improvement opportunities, supporting change initiatives
Ensure compliance with Superannuation legislation, AML/CTF, CDD, privacy and internal controls
Act as a trusted partner to your Manager and internal stakeholders
What you'll bring
Experience in Super Payments operations or financial services administration
Demonstrated people leadership experience in an operational environment
Strong technical understanding of payments processes, systems and controls
Solid knowledge of compliance, AML/CTF and operational risk requirements
Confidence assisting and coaching others on technical matters and quality standards
Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills
RG146 compliance (required)
Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance or a related discipline (desirable)
Experience with Netwealth products and systems (or the ability to learn quickly)
