About the Role
As a Card Product Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management and growth of the amaze card product. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, finance, risk management, and technology to ensure the success of card products and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Formulate, develop, and implement business strategies to grow the Amaze Card.
- Market Launch: Develop a comprehensive project plan and business case to introduce new card products in new countries, overseeing the entire process from start to finish, including managing key stakeholders and understanding local regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration and Product Development: Partner with marketing, partnership, product, and analytics teams to spearhead spend and acquisition campaigns, monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and assess the effectiveness of pricing and reward points.
- Partnership Management: Manage and improve relationships with business partners and vendors (card schemes, acquirers, partnerships, etc.) and track commercial commitments
- Operations Management: Oversee daily product marketing and operations, including weekly reporting, handling customer issues, and managing portfolio activities.
- Market and Data Analysis: Constantly review and rationalize the current suite of products and services against the ever-changing travel card landscape to identify opportunities for new services or enhancements. Analyze customer data, interpret indicators and trends to identify opportunities within the Amaze portfolio.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative and strategic support, including business projections, budget planning, and preparation of pitch decks and management presentation materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with relevant experience in business/finance/marketing
- 3-5 years in product management, preferably in the bank or financial services with a focus on card products. Experience in merchant acquiring would be an advantage
- Strong understanding of card payment systems, regulations and industry trends
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing card products that drive revenue growth
- Hands-on knowledge or familiarity with MS excel, JIRA, confluence, CRM tools is an added advantage
- Strong presentation and analytical skills, data-driven, and able to think critically and creatively
- Proficient in English. Knowledge and Proficiency in other languages is an added advantage
