Job Purpose:

Under the guidance of a technical manager, contribute to the development of oneZero Financial applications, tools and workflow systems.

Duties:

• Develops systems that conform to provided technical guidance.
  • Works with technical manager to understand technical design and code requirements.
  • Writes and develops code to implement technical designs.
  • Tests and debugs code using test tools and/or unit tests.
  • Pro-actively reports any issues found during development that require deviation from design or requirements,
• Contributes to overall code quality.
  • Follows oneZero coding standards and best practices.
  • Requires technical manager to review code before submission to source control.
  • Tests all code before seeking technical manager review.
  • Under supervision, participates in code reviews of other developers’ work.
• Prioritizes work according to company scheduling requirements.
  • Works on bugs and tasks in priority order as specified by technical manager.
  • Completes work reasonably close to provided time estimates.
  • Pro-actively reports any road blocks or deviations from time estimates.
• Continues learning and growing as a software engineer and domain expert. * We seek to hire leaders at all levels - leaders continue to learn, grow, innovate, and raise the bar for themselves and others.
  • Developers are expected to learn and continually increase their mastery of software engineering best practices, diagnostic techniques, and general problem-solving skills.
  • While we don't require any initial domain knowledge, we expect developers to grow and learn the domain as part of their responsibilities.
• Is responsible, along with all other management and staff, for creating a work environment conducive to exceptional productivity and high employee morale.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Significant and demonstrably strong C++ development experience.
• Able to reliably estimate and complete assignments with a minimum of oversight, but able to take direction as necessary.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude. Our team has exceptional productivity and high employee morale because we respect one another and work well together.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

The yearly salary range for this position is $100,000.00 to $150,000.00, depending on relevant experience.
