Job Description
As Senior Vice President of Retail Products, you will be responsible for the vision, strategy, and execution of our Retail product portfolio to defend and extend our market-leading position serving retail brokerage firms. This role is ideal for a commercially driven product leader who effectively blends domain credibility, strategic clarity, and disciplined execution. With direct responsibility for multiple product managers and the direction of their development teams as well as influence over the roadmap of other teams with Retail market touchpoints, you’ll drive a cohesive plan to introduce new product innovations and further extend the value we create for customers. This role reports to the Chief Product Officer and works closely with senior leadership across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute product strategy for oneZero’s Retail segment, aligned to company growth objectives.
- Continuously assess evolving business models, market structure, and competitive dynamics across the value streams relevant to our target customers.
- Translate customer insights into clear prioritization, roadmaps, and new product capabilities that deliver high value.
- Champion methods and priorities that ensure high quality in our products.
- Drive and formalize pricing policy and process with an emphasis on maintaining system integrity.
- Maintain and evolve pricing and packaging in collaboration with senior management to support product and market evolution.
- Identify, evaluate, and incubate new product concepts and adjacent opportunities.
- Contribute to make/buy/partner decisions and manage relevant strategic partnerships.
- Lead and develop a team of product managers, instilling strong product discipline, strategic thinking, and customer intimacy.
- Provide cross-functional leadership across Engineering, Sales, and Support to ensure successful delivery and lifecycle management.
- Own commercial performance for the retail segment in partnership with executive leadership.
- Measure the value our existing products and new capabilities add for customers and use the data to fuel further innovation and continuous improvement.
Required Experience and Capabilities
- 10+ years serving retail brokerage firms (multi-asset including FX, metals, crypto, CFDS, and beyond) in a product, commercial, or operating role.
- Strong preference for experience in a product role at a technology vendor serving this market; outstanding candidates from brokerages will also be considered.
- Proven product management skillset, including strategy development and roadmap ownership.
- Demonstrated ability to listen deeply, diagnose root business problems, and prioritize effectively — including confidently declining low-impact requests.
- Strong commercial orientation, with experience defining and influencing pricing, positioning, and revenue outcomes.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Technical fluency in trading infrastructure (connectivity, execution workflows, risk management, APIs, data pipelines) is a strong plus.
- Comfort and skill in speaking at industry events or interviews
- Bachelor’s Degree in technical, hard science, or business fields. Advanced degrees are a plus.
