The Role
The Business Continuity Manager role is the newest addition to our in-house IT Security team. Reporting to our Head of IT Security - Global you will take charge of our Cyber Resilience and Business Continuity Program, working to strengthen our organization's resilience by conducting thorough risk assessments and crafting strategic plans. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the continuity of our business operations and IT infrastructure, especially during unforeseen disruptions. You'll work closely with different teams to develop and execute robust business continuity strategies, safeguarding our ability to sustain essential functions both during and after a crisis.
As our Business Continuity Manager, your key responsibilities include, but not limited to
- Leading the development, implementation, and management of the Cyber Resilience and Business Continuity Program, aligning it with corporate objectives and industry best practices.
- Conducting comprehensive risk evaluations of business processes, IT operations, and third-party interactions to identify vulnerabilities and propose mitigation strategies.
- Coordinating with IT and business units to create and maintain effective disaster recovery plans that minimize downtime and ensure rapid restoration of services.
- Ensuring that all business processes and IT architectures are designed with resilience and redundancy to withstand various operational disruptions.
- Monitoring and enforcing compliance with relevant standards and regulations such as ISO 22301 and the DORA initiative.
- Engaging and educating stakeholders across the organization on business continuity principles and practices, fostering a culture of preparedness.
- Regularly reviewing and updating business continuity and disaster recovery protocols to adapt to new threats and changes in the business environment.
About You
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Cyber Resilience, Business Continuity Management, or related fields within IT/ICT-dependent business environments.
- Extensive experience in conducting architectural reviews and supporting processes.
- Proficient in architectural reviews, process design, and change management, with familiarity with ISO 22301 and DORA initiative.
- Strong analytical skills for conducting sophisticated cyber risk assessments and business impact analyses.
- Effective leadership and excellent communication skills to promote collaboration and nurture a culture of cyber resilience.
- Highly desirable professional certifications in Cybersecurity and Business Continuity (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CBCI, MBCP).
