In a Senior Golang Engineer role, you'll bring your expertise and technical know-how to the table, playing a vital role in developing high-quality software solutions. In this position, you'll take charge of leading technical initiatives and providing crucial support to the application. By championing Continuous Delivery practices, you'll inspire modern, collaborative engineering approaches that result in exceptional outcomes.

Your active collaboration with product managers, business analysts, and designers will ensure the delivery of exceptional, data-driven software solutions. Your influence will be pivotal in shaping our engineering function, fostering and promoting high-quality practices across the board. Together with your Engineering Team Lead, you'll design and execute a roadmap to continuously enhance the application over time.

With strong support from leadership, you'll take ownership of the technical solution and software design, working closely with your team to achieve delivery objectives and expand the technology platform as needed. Your dedication to the team's success will shine through as you lead engaging discussions during tech huddles and retrospectives, inspiring others to deepen their knowledge of modern engineering practices.

As our Senior Golang Engineer, your key responsibilities include, but not limited to

• Contributing to the development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of scalable backend services utilizing the Go programming language
• Leading the implementation of WebSockets to elevate real-time communication functionalities
• Efficiently and securely integrating third-party solutions to enhance system capabilities
• Skillfully managing and optimizing server-client interactions, leveraging TCP/IP protocols
• Collaborating closely with the infrastructure team to ensure seamless network operations
• Upholding the backend codebase's consistency, reliability, and efficiency, adhering to the highest standards
• Working harmoniously with the team to streamline testing processes and deliver high-caliber outputs
• Providing technical guidance to junior engineers and assisting in the onboarding of new team members
• Engaging in cross-functional collaboration with front-end developers, product managers, and designers to ensure flawless project execution

• Proven expertise in identifying and resolving complex software problems
• In-depth knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and data structures
• A strong commitment to continuous learning and personal growth, showcasing a deep dedication to ongoing professional development
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to effectively prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
• Highly developed collaborative skills across diverse teams, coupled with the ability to mentor and guide junior members with ease

Nice to have

• Familiarity in the dynamic world of Forex and its trading platforms, showcasing a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements in this software domain
• Proficient in crafting efficient CI/CD pipelines through the power of GitHub Actions, creating tailored workflows and streamlining various stages of the development lifecycle
• Hands-on experience with Protocol Buffers or other binary serialization protocols, highlighting a strong knowledge in optimizing data transfer and storage
