The Role:
An exciting new phase has begun within our brand team, creating opportunities to elevate Pepperstone's global brand presence and this position is one of the newly created positions to support our upcoming brand strategy. As our Sponsorship Manager - Global, you will be responsible for both our local and global sponsorships, driving sponsorship awareness and recognition of our brand alignment through onsite, offsite and digital activations. This will involve creating compelling narratives that align with our sponsorships, while also cultivating relationships with our sponsors and agency partners to develop content and activations that will drive growth and ultimately revenue for the business.
Ultimately, you will be accountable for executing our sponsorship strategy, ensuring premium brand alignment and delivering exceptional, exclusive experiences for our clients and partners.
Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Define sponsorship campaign priorities and key performance indicators to measure success and evaluate individual initiatives and events.
- Develop and manage go-to-market strategies and activation plans for Pepperstone’s global sponsorships, aligned with the sponsorship calendar.
- Collaborate with regional marketing leads to co-develop activation and marketing plans for local sponsorships, supporting the global strategy.
- Serve as the primary contact for agency partners in creating content and social media assets for sponsorships.
- Build and maintain relationships with regional marketing leads, commercial heads, sales teams, partners, legal, compliance, sponsors, and agencies.
- Coordinate event sponsorship activities, including logistics, branding opportunities, and on-site and digital activations.
- Ensure sponsorships are effectively integrated into our digital and social ecosystems to support acquisition targets.
- Monitor and report on the performance of sponsorship initiatives, providing insights and reports on ROI and effectiveness to senior management.
About you:
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in sponsorship related roles.
- Proven experience working with global rights holders in the sporting field.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and analytical skills.
- Experience in managing budgets and forecasting financials.
- Experience in granular campaign and ROI reporting.
- Proficient in social media and understanding the digital role of sponsorship content.
- Flexibility to work across time zones where required(we operate in 9 regions with clients across the globe)
- Current full working rights in Australia
