Your contribution will be vital in ensuring our systems maintain the highest levels of quality, scalability, and reliability. You will champion an “automation-first” mindset, drive modern quality assurance practices, and collaborate across teams to redefine and enhance quality standards within our engineering processes. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced QA professional passionate about building efficient testing frameworks and delivering impactful solutions in a dynamic environment.
As our Quality Engineer, your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Promoting an Automation-First Mindset: Provide practical, efficient testing approaches with a strong emphasis on automation to ensure high standards of quality.
- Reviewing Requirements and Specifications: Collaborate with Business Analysts and Domain Experts to define and execute a robust quality strategy.
- Developing Automation Frameworks: Participate in the creation and evolution of automated testing frameworks and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Test Case Management: Write and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure optimal coverage and reliability.
- Executing Tests: Create and execute automated test cases, with manual testing conducted as necessary for specific product areas.
- API Testing: Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or Cypress.
- Quality Process Improvements: Identify opportunities to enhance QA processes and implement actionable improvements for better outcomes.
- Collaborating Across Teams: Work closely with engineering and QA teams to integrate testing seamlessly into the software development lifecycle.
- Mentoring and Coaching: Guide and support team members in adopting best practices and improving their technical skills in quality engineering.
About You
- Experience:
- Proven expertise in designing and executing test cases for comprehensive coverage.
- Hands-on experience with testing frameworks/tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Serenity, or Cucumber.
- Proficiency in API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Cypress.
- Technical Skills:
- Solid experience in software development (Go or Java preferred).
- Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter is a plus.
- Experience working with Agile methods and processes, advocating for quality in an agile setting.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to coach and mentor team members effectively.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
